Tami Neilson - Baby, you're a gun

Brand new country music from the award collecting star. It's like a movie soundtrack and tells the story of a woman who does something unexpected...
Tami Neilson - Baby you're a gun

Tami Neilson led a life very close to music from a young age. She was rocked in the arms by Roy Orbison, played music for Johnny Cash in her pyjamas at the age of 18 and gave street concerts with the Neilsons as a family band to earn money.

At some point, she moved to New Zealand and it was only there that her career began to take off from around 2014. By then she was "already" 37 years old.

The song "Baby, you're a gun", which was released on the album Kingmaker and is very listenable throughout, is about the image of women and the unexpected power that can suddenly burst forth. With her magnificent voice, the warm strings and the whistling typical of country music, the song is somewhat reminiscent of Ennio Morricone's Italo Western music, but retains its absolute independence thanks to the strong chorus. A terrific song.
