You could already read a lot about the new album. Many think it is a departure from musical heights already reached. But a review is probably often just a matter of personal taste. Janelle Monáe hits the mark with me in the song Float.
I still own their first record as a CD and had little contact with their musical work after that. With the release of "The Age of Pleasure", I also got to grips with the previous records, which came across as much more commercial to me. With "The Age of Pleasure", the musical spectrum changed.
