Imagine Dragon x J.I.D. -Enemy

Originally composed for the Netflix series: Arcane - League of Legends, the song found its way into the charts...
Imagine Dragons vs JID - Enemy

The song can of course be dismissed as a normal pop-rock radio song. The long weeks in the charts suggest nothing else and somehow the song sounds like some other Imagine Dragons songs. Nevertheless, there is more to this combo than that. Anyone who manages to reach more than a billion streams with each of the four songs "Radioactive", "Demons", "Believer" and "Thunder" must be doing something right. Nothing is more successful than success, which is why after one success, the next record usually has a little more success. But anyone who has been successful for as long as Imagine Dragons really does appeal to a large group of listeners.

The songs are always cleanly produced, come with a large amount of background effects and also convince with variable vocals.

J.I.D., who comes from the New York rap school, cuts a fine figure in this piece of music with his green cartoon eyes. On the soundbar, his rap vocals stand out transparently from the background and are clearly reproduced in the mid-range.

Enemy can be found on the album "Mercury Act 1" and deals with the inner turmoil of the protagonist, who emerges as an enemy. You don't notice much of this in the lyrics, but what the hell

The video naturally lives from the visual power of the Arcane Film. See for yourself.

After 4 years without any major chart success, the market launch via a Netflix series was of course a smart move. Two people needed each other and found each other. That's how marketing works and that's how "win-win" works if anyone is interested. The bottom line is that the guys from Imagine Dragons have found the "hit secret" and it works magnificently.
