The Weekend - The Hills

Another song that is recommended by many for a speaker test. Especially in the "Bass" section. On the surface, you can hear a powerful bass. Underneath, however, there is an even deeper bass carpet.

Abel Tesfaye is the Canadian artist behind "The Weekend" and created a track on his second LP, "The Beauty behind the Madness", which met with a broad and very positive response and made it into the top 10 lists of some annual reviews in 2015. This is partly due to the plot, with its dramatic beginning, but also the incorporated "horror" elements and the chorus, which is accompanied by deep bass elements, create a song with a strong character. 

There are also a few pyro effects in the video, but see for yourself.

It is better to listen to the song on a high-quality sound carrier so that you can hear the whole spectrum.

A lawsuit was subsequently filed against artists and producers for allegedly stealing the bass sequence in the film "The Machine". The outcome of the lawsuit is unknown.

Here is a video from the movie "The Machine". This was the best title where you could tell that a bass sequence might have been mixed under the song.
