We were at a neighborhood disco in Lucerne and two DJs of an older age (in case of doubt still younger than me) were playing. They played a lot of disco hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The last song was Anikana-O, which was completely unknown to me, originally by the Kongas and released in 1974.
At the beginning of 2024, The Deepshakerz released an extended remix version, which even in this day and age should not only be played in the quartet disco in the parish hall 😉 The DJs had it down pat.
