Kendrik Lamar, SZA - luther

Nothing said and suddenly released. Rap legend Kendrick Lamar has released his new album. Is it worth it....?

The album GNX features the song "luther", which Kendrik Lamar recorded together with Jack Antonoff as producer. He has also worked with Taylor Swift and Lana del Ray. The song is a duet with SZA, with whom he will soon be going on tour. With the lyric "If this world were mine", the rather quiet track references the song by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, which shows that Lamar has dealt with his influences on the album.

With rap, R&B and soul, the song combines many styles and influences, which makes it particularly dense. The chorus, sung by SZA, is the melodic highlight. The recording is Dolby Atmos, but the soundbar brings out the effects beautifully and shows the music in a flat image.
