The piece begins with bass and percussion elements, such as a triangle. Everything sounds extremely clean, the stage is vivid and the voices are perfectly recorded and positioned. An excellent CD for getting up close and personal with loudspeakers. In other words, there are good, very good and excellent recordings and this one is outstanding.
The record was released in 1992. This was in the middle of the period when sound quality was once again particularly promoted by CDs and many artists put a lot of effort into the recording quality. Thanks to Jennifer Warnes for making the same effort. A perfect result. If there were more of them, MP3 would probably never have caught on.
