Uruguay is the smallest Spanish-speaking country. I was there briefly in 1994 to visit the waterfalls of Iguazu and unfortunately missed a visit to Montevideo. Uruguay is one of the most stable democracies in South America and also one of the most prosperous countries in the region. It established its "permanent and active unarmed neutrality" in 1983 and is also known as the "Switzerland of Central America". Its 5.1 million inhabitants live in an area half the size of Germany.
Uruguayans like to listen to rock music. One popular Uruguayan rock band is called La Vela Puerca. They have also become famous in Germany because they have opened for "Die Ärzte" in Germany (and vice versa in South America)
However, "No Te Va Gustar" is better known overall. It also fills the big stadiums in Uruguay and sometimes reaches streaming figures of more than 100 million views on Spotify.
