England, the motherland of football and always at the forefront when it comes to modern music. So it's hard to make a choice and to be on the safe side, you reach for something old. The Beatles - All you need is love. And when there's also the following video, which is about international understanding, then I'm very glad that England is at the top of the schedule, because this video shows what the World Cup is all about. It's about togetherness. Ringo Starr said it like this: "It was a fabulous time." (And here he means the Summer of Love, the height of the hippie movement) "I get excited even now when I realize that's what it (the song) was for: peace and love. People putting flowers in guns."
I won't write anything here about Brexit and all the decline and the political and social upheavals associated with it, which are largely negated in England ;-).
