The sideboard is a mixture of sideboard and soundbar. A new type of audio furniture or TV furniture that makes further electronics unnecessary thanks to the amplifier built into the active speakers. Similar furniture (so-called sound chests or sound furniture), but with many more built-in devices, already existed in the 40s, 50s and 60s. The sideboard and your cell phone are enough to enjoy music. The future of listening to music looks bright.
Speakers & sound
The upward-tilted coaxial tweeter and midrange driver perfectly showcases the sound of your music, movies or gaming sounds and easily creates a spatiality that will inspire you.
The bass radiating downwards leaves nothing to be desired in terms of depth and sound pressure.
Depending on your taste, you can leave the treble, bass and mid-range tones neutral or boost them slightly. (+2db for freaks)
All necessary connections
Simply connect your TV via optical TOSLINK cable or CINCH cable. You can take control and stream music from your cell phone via Bluetooth.
Sustainability through longevity
The smart audio furniture is made from sustainably produced wood. However, true sustainability only comes with the length of use. We want you to use the soundboard for as long as possible. That's why it's built so robustly and doesn't use fast-moving technologies. That's why you don't need regular software updates.
As an active speaker, additional electronics, such as an external amplifier, are largely unnecessary. This saves money and is also sustainable.
Creates order
There is a compartment at the back of the smart audio furniture where you can store cables. Everything looks neat and tidy. The chassis are covered with fabric at the front and the basses at the bottom have a metal grille cover to protect them from pets or vacuum cleaners.
The soundboard is 150 cm wide as standard, 40 cm high with feet and 50 cm deep, so that hi-fi devices with the typical standard depth fit into the compartment in the middle.
Where does the name Sarasvati come from?
The name of the soundboard "Sarasvati" goes back to the Indian goddess of wisdom, scholarship and the arts. She is said to have a pure and beautiful voice. Musical instruments - and in this sense also our soundboard - are often regarded as manifestations of Sarasvati in India.
